CNA Algés is strongly committed to ensuring the privacy of its users and the protection and security of their personal data.

Thus, except in cases where users have previously authorized the collection and processing of their personal data for the purposes in this document, navigation on this website is done completely anonymously.

This privacy policy describes how users’ personal data are processed, the purposes of the processing, the rights of users regarding data protection and the security measures applied to protect the personal data collected.

Use of personal data

The personal data provided will be processed to send information from the Sopromar Group, namely, to keep you informed about new services or products, invitations to events, information about promotions, current campaigns, quality and satisfaction surveys and Customer Service.

•To process data in a lawful and appropriate manner, collecting only the information necessary and relevant to the purpose for which it is intended;

•Allow the data subject to access and correct the information about him/her, transmitting it in clear language and strictly corresponding to the content of the record;

•Not to use the data collected for a purpose incompatible with that of collection;

•Ensure the express consent of the data subject where required;  

•Guarantee the right to delete the data used whenever requested by the data subject, within the legally imposed limitations;

•Respect professional secrecy in relation to the data processed;

•Do not interconnect personal data, unless legally obliged/authorized or authorized by the National Data Protection Commission.

Responsible for the treatment

The company Sopromar – Centro Náutico, Lda. is responsible for the processing of your personal data, by automated means or not, since its collection, organization, conservation, and elimination.

Sopromar complies with the rules stipulated in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 for the processing of personal data.

Purposes of processing

The personal data collected will only be used for the purposes indicated above, will not be transmitted to third parties, except when it comes to compliance with legal obligations and will not be used for purposes other than those for which consent has been given.

The legal basis for the processing of data is based on the consent of the data subject.

The personal data collected will be processed exclusively in Portugal, and it is not foreseen that the personal data will be transferred to a third country or international organization.

•Request the deletion of the data provided;

•Request the limitation of the use of your personal data;

When, by rule or legally imposed obligation, it is not possible to satisfy the request of the data subject, Sopromar will inform the same, through the same means by which the request was made, indicating the respective ground of impossibility. 

Retention of data

Whenever there is no specific legal requirement, the data will be stored and kept for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, namely if the data subject is a customer of the company or the newsletter is active, as applicable, or for the period authorized by the National Data Protection Commission.

Personal data protection measures

Sopromar has adopted several appropriate physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect users’ personal data, including the use of secure servers, firewalls and, in cases of electronic data transmission, the encryption of communications data.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Sopromar reserves the right, at any time, to change the terms and conditions of its Privacy Policy as well as the Shipyard Rules. In this sense, it is suggested to regularly consult the Privacy Policy in force.

 Right to Complain

The Data Subject may proceed with a complaint to a supervisory authority, including the National Data Protection Commission, if it considers that there is a violation in the use of its personal data in relation to the applicable legislation.
